We tried putting the heat on, it seemed to kick on, only to kick right off. The problem was it was freezing, 58 degrees in the home. It was a beautiful house, modern and a beautiful pool and backyard. I asked could you find us another home? They did and with a sigh of relief, we all went to our home for the next 4 nights. We had all been in the car for hours and we had $500 worth of food being delivered in 30 minutes. Our home had a late check out and would not be ready for another 1 1/2 hours. We had 10 adults, 6 children, one being a baby. I checked in and waited for the house to be ready… around 4:00 I started inquiring about our home. ![]() I would gladly come back if someone were to help me remedy our unlucky hurricane incident! More Show less Recently we returned to Orlando for New Years and we chose to stay elsewhere. I’ve written in two emails since and no one has ever reached out or responded to me and it’s been 3 months. I was placed on hold and it was checked on but in the end, It was just a “no sorry”. ![]() I spoke with a few people by phone to see if they could help us with a credit or refund for the first night due to the natural disaster(we would have much rather been there!). Luckily we were only able to manage to arrive a day late on 10/1. Due to the hurricane Orlando airport was closed on 9/30, all incoming flights were cancelled, most all incoming roads through Orlando were closed to flooding. We recently stayed on what should have been 9/30-10/7 trip to Encore. Always loved it, staff was great, any minor maintenance issues were always addressed promptly and homes were clean and welcoming. We have frequently stayed at Encore Reunion for all of our Disney trips (1-2 times a year since my 7 year old).
